Safety Monitoring Device of Tower Crane (Black box)

Safety protection monitoring device (for short: Safety monitor) is used to real time monitoring and can avoid safety accidents that caused by operators' negligence or misjudges.

The device includes tower crane black box, tower crane wind speed transmitter, weight sensor, radius sensor and lifting height sensor, meantime can change different assemblies. Monitoring data can transmit wireless between main board and extension, the effective transmitting distance is 3000m.

Main function:

(1) Data recording. In the process of tower crane, in sampling periods of 10ms, it collects and records work parameters of tower crane, including loading, temperature, wind speed, alarm record and moment. Pulse signals that is used to calculate height, radius and trolleying angle (can increase slewing) use interuption to count, the results of counting save one time each 10ms and can save 1.5 hours (5000 PCS) records, and datas and events will be transferred to FLASH when power fails or capsizing cases of tower cranes happen.

(2) Safety protection. The device can realize various safety limiter functions, including hoisting moment limit, hoisting weight limit, lifting height limit, radius limit and slewing angle limit. When tower crane overload, system will provide controlling signals, allow crane to move toward safety direction and forbid it to run to dangerous direction.

(3) Realtime display function. Liquid screen display key parameters of tower crane instantly (loading, radius, hoisting moment and wind speed) and main operation (lifting, trolleying etc. ).
