Design: With fashion and modern folding lines composed by dots shuttling through the building, the texture of Ruyao ice crack in blue semitransparent spreads the whole building.

Glass structure: 6mm super clear glass print + 12A + 6mm super clear glass Low-e hollow glass;

6mm super clear glass print + 1.52pvb + 6mm super clear glass Low-e laminated hollow glass

Quantity: about 1630sqm of super clear glazed hollow glass for exterior curtain walls, and about 300sqm super clear glazed laminated glass for interior decoration.

Project Introduction:

Tianlang Changan Commercial building is the first totally use ceramic printing glass for facade in northwest region. This box structure facade is designed as half transparent blue with decorative lines. Total facade use 1630sqm glass combining of low iron ceramic print glass, Low-E insulated glass and low iron ceramic print laminated Low-E insulated glass. The pattern lines all continue through the glass without showing seams.

Application of white insulating sealant:

Rich facade designs need more colors of insulating sealant and structure sealant to match. Tianlang changan facade is of bright blue crossing with white folding lines. We suggest using white insulating sealant and structure sealant to make the black seams not so obvious to damage the total effect. Except common used black insulating sealant, there are white, clear, and gray sealants that can be selected for different design.

Pattern design:

The designer take the ice crackle of porcelain to facade design. We draw this ice crackle as 5mm wide continual lines of deep blue grey color as irregular grid, then project to all facade glass to make lines all continue and without seam showing on the 1630sqm glass facade. It is the digital printer data center which control the ink quantity and parameter to realize the exact colors and it can print the same color at different time. This printer can print opaque color and also half transparent color. The white folding lines on the facade are made from dots of 10mm diameter with 6mm space and 45° arrangement. These dots cover 50% of its space which can ensure the art effect from outside view and also enough light for sightseeing inside.
