Modern barcelona style chair

As iconic modern furniture goes, there is little to touch the cult status of the stunningly elegant Barcelona chair. Designed by van der Rohe for the King and Queen to sit on at the Spanish Pavillion (it is also sometimes called the Pavillion chair) in Barcelona in 1929, the chair was an instant success and continues to be widely admired and exceptionally popular right up to the present day. The design incorporates a sweeping highly polished solid stainless steel frame with leather strapping suspending the full Italian leather cushions. Color: black, brown or white Italian leather.
