Appearance of Rubber waterstop strip

Green, rectangular plastic strip of approx. 20 by 25 mm, in rolls of  approx. 5 metres long.

Consumption of Rubber waterstop strip

The necessary quantities are dependent on the lengths of the various (construction) joints, which need to be sealed. It has to be taken into consideration that a lateral overlapping of 5 to 10 cm between 2 lengths of bentonite strip is necessary. 

Features of Rubber waterstop strip

1. It is designed to seal the opening gap of joints by water absorbing and volumetric swelling.

2. It shows good swelling properties even when in contact with sea and cement water due to the low swelling rate to prevent concrete cracks caused by swelling pressure.
