Turkey launched the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on China related safety glass!

On November 14, 2020, the Ministry of trade of Turkey issued announcement No. 2020 / 23, which initiated the first sunset review investigation on toughened or laminated glass safety glass (Turkish: temperlenmi ν veya Lamine edilmi ν Emniyet camlar ı) originating in China and Israel. The case involves products under Turkish tax codes 7007.21.20.00.21, 7007.21.20.00.31, 7007.21.80.00.21, 7007.21.80.00.31, 7007.29.00.00.21 and 7007.29.00.00.12. The announcement shall take effect from the date of promulgation.

Interested parties shall submit questionnaires and evidence materials within 37 days from the date of announcement.

On December 26, 2014, Turkey launched an anti-dumping investigation on toughened or laminated safety glass originating in China and Israel. On November 18, 2015, Turkey made an affirmative final determination on the case (see Announcement No. 2015 / 49).
