After Comparing More than 20 Chinese Hydraulic Valve Block Manufacturers, Richard Said That Only AAK benchmarked his German Suppliers

During Power transmission and control technology exhibition in Shanghai last year (PTC Asia), Italian ATOS company asked Richard to find a qualified hydraulic valve block supplier from Chinese hydraulic valve block manufacturers through the exhibition and supply for the branch in Malaysia. He spent a whole day at the exhibition. He went into almost every booth of Chinese hydraulic valve block manufacturers and selected more than 20 Chinese hydraulic valve block manufacturers. He communicated with us AAK for more than half an hour, and took some data with him. When he left, he said that AAK was the Chinese hydraulic valve block manufacturer he spent the most time today. After the exhibition, he would test samples of AAK hydraulic valve block. We asked Richard for feedback but just got reply of waiting for results. We thought it to be no results any more. 1 month later, Richard emailed that the chief engineer of the Malaysian branch advised that 3 of the 6 Chinese hydraulic valve block manufacturers met the requirements, but the accuracy of AAK hydraulic valve block was much higher than that of the other 2 Chinese hydraulic valve block manufacturers. These data of AAK have been benchmarked with their old hydraulic valve block suppliers in Germany. Richard quickly made a report to the boss according to AAK quotation and production time. The accuracy of the hydraulic valve block is comparable with that of the original supplier, but the price is 20% cheaper, and the lead time is 30-40% shorter.

Richard wondered why among so many Chinese hydraulic valve block manufacturers, only AAK benchmarked the German factory?

Before processing, AAK uses German COMET flaw detector to detect the blank of hydraulic valve block to ensure that the internal structure of the hydraulic valve block is dense and free of interlayer, trachoma and other defects. This step is generally ignored by other manufacturers. Then select the composite tool for processing, and combine two or more similar or different hole processing tools into one special tool. One tool can process the threaded bottom hole, 45°, 15°, R0.1 chamfering and external counterbore at the same time, and it can complete multiple processes such as drilling, expanding, reaming, spot facing and boring in the process of one machining. We don't know whether there is a second manufacturer mastering these technical essentials, maybe, maybe not.

The boss was surprised that Richard found such a Chinese hydraulic valve block manufacturer and asked him to test an order for 500 hydraulic valve blocks. Richard asked AAK to guarantee on time delivery. The boss said that if it went well, he would be given a promotion and a raise.
