Product Introduce:
Benzalkonium chloride, also known as BZK, BKC, BAC, alkylmethylbenzylammonium chloride and adbac, is a kind of quaternary ammonium based cationic surfactant. It can be used as biocide, cationic surfactant and phase transfer agent in chemical industry. This compound is a heterogeneous mixture of various even alkyl chain alkylene chlorides.

Product Use:
Benzalkonium chloride is widely used as disinfectant. It can change the permeability of bacterial plasma membrane, make the substances of bacteria permeate, hinder their metabolism and kill them. It has strong effect on Gram-positive bacteria, but has no effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa and acid resistant bacteria. It is suitable for skin disinfection, mucous membrane and wound disinfection and surgical instrument disinfection before operation. This product is incompatible with soap and other cationic surfactants, citrate, iodide, nitrate, permanganate, salicylate, silver salt, tartrate and alkaloids. It is forbidden to be compatible with aluminum, sodium fluorescein, clay, hydrous lanolin and some sulfonamides.
