Properties and uses
Colourless，transparent oily liquid，boiling point 294℃，freezing point -20℃，viscosity 5.5 c.p.（20℃）。

Used as low VOC (volatile organic compounds) solvent and film-forming agent for painting and coat instead of Texanol (2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentanediol monoisobutyrate) and TXIB (2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentanediol Diisobutyrate)
Used as plasticizer for ethylene resins，synthetic rubbers.
Used in molding press of low temperature usage，packing materials as shim, soft tube，frozen foods.
