Uses of Chromium carbide

（1）It is a high temperature environment with good wear resistance,corrosion resistance,oxidation resistance of the material of high melting point,with nickel chromium alloy gold carbide particles,plasma spraying method,can be used as high temperature resistance,abrasion resistance,oxidation resistance and acid proof coating,is widely used in aircraft engines and petrochemical mechanical device,can greatly improve the mechanical life.Also commonly used as carbide grain refiner and other wear and corrosion resistant components.The cermet based on Cr₃C₂ has excellent oxidation resistance at high temperature.

（2）Used in chrome Carbide Ceramics.Coarse-grained Chromium Carbide is used as melt-blown material to form melt-blown coating on the surface of metal and ceramic,giving the latter wear resistance, heat resistance,corrosion resistance and other properties.It is widely used in aircraft engines and petrochemical mechanical devices to greatly improve the mechanical life.It can also be used to spray semiconductor film.
