Product features and advantages

VOK-3942 P improves the adhesion of powder coating to various pretreated metal substrates, and can also improve the substrate wetting problem caused by insufficient substrate pretreatment or unclean pretreatment residues. Also recommended for non-metallic substrates. Standard test for improving salt spray resistance (NSS) and adhesion of other powder coatings. In particular, VOK-3942 P can also improve adhesion after immersion test.

Recommended use

VOK-3942 P is recommended for all powder paint systems based on epoxy, polyester and polyurethane resins, as well as polyester/epoxy resin systems. It is recommended to use with standard leveling agents such as VOK-368 P or VOK-3900 P.

Recommended dosage 0.5-3% of auxiliary dosage (purchase form) is based on the general formula.

Adding method and processing guidance

The additive is mixed with resin, curing agent, pigment and other raw materials in a high-speed mixer, and then extruded. The good dispersion of additives by the extruder helps to improve the luster and leveling of the powder coating, prevent the formation of shrinkage cavity, fish eye and particles, and achieve good performance.
