Characteristics and use

It improves low and medium shear viscosity and has great thixotropy. It is similar to the performance of cellulose thickener

Anti - sagging, anti - pigment sedimentation, avoiding or reducing water separation

Good water retention, color matching and compatibility with the system

It has good thickening effect and replaces the medium molecular weight HEC, which improves the water resistance, gloss, roll coating splash resistance and microbial erosion resistance of the coating film

Thickening effect is produced in alkaline environment

It does not contain organic solvents and alkyl phenol polyoxyethylene ether (AP EO), and can be used for the preparation of environment-friendly products

The low dosage is used in conjunction with other thickeners to strengthen the anti-settlement of the paint in the tank and the anti-sagging of the coating film. The gloss effect is less than that of cellulose

Addition amount and use method

Generally, add 0.1-2.0% to the total amount

VOK®-WT 120 can replace medium molecular weight HEC, and can also be used to improve low shear viscosity. It can be used with other rheological additives to obtain the required rheological properties

VOK®-WT 120 diluted with water (VOK®-WT 120／water=1／1 → 1／5) is added to the system, and fully stirred evenly, and the PH value of the system is adjusted to 8.0-10.0 with DMAE or MA-95

Storage

The product shall be placed in a cool and ventilated place to avoid direct sunlight. It is recommended to use and store the product in the environment of 5 ℃ - 40 ℃. If it is not used completely after taking it, it shall be tightly sealed to prevent scaling
