Description
The MPQ8645P is a fully integrated, high-frequency synchronous buck converter compatible with the PMBusTM interface.The MPQ8645P provides a small footprint solution with excellent load and linearity regulation for output currents up to 30A per phase over a wide input range.The MPQ8645P operates efficiently over a wide output current load range.
The PMBusTM interface provides converter configuration and monitoring of key parameters. The MCOT control method also allows multiple MPQ8645P devices to be connected in parallel for excellent current sharing and phase interleaving when used for high current applications.
The converter is fully protected with over-current protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), undervoltage protection (UVP), and over-temperature protection (OTP).
The MPQ8645P minimizes the use of existing standard external components and is available in a TQFN-25 (4mmx5mm) package.

- 3.1V - 16V, external 3.3V VCC bias 4V - 16V, internal bias or external 3.3V VCC bias
- Continuous output current of 30A per phase
- Low on-state impedance integrated power MOSFETs
- Loss-free and with accurate on-chip current sampling
- Adaptive constant on-time (COT) control for ultra-fast transient response
- Stable operation with Zero-ESR output capacitors
- Reference voltage accuracy of 0.5% over 0°C to +70°C junction temperature range
- True remote sampling of output voltage
- Adjustable output voltage from 0.4V to 0.9 x VIN, up to 5.5V
- Output voltage/current, input voltage and internal chip temperature reporting
- Built-in MTP to store individual configurations
- Programmable via PMBusTM
