Description

The NCP380 is a high voltage side power distribution switch designed for applications that may encounter heavy capacitive loads and short circuits, incorporating a 70 mΩ (DFN package) P-channel MOSFET in a single package.The device limits the output current to the desired level and switches to regulated current mode when the output load exceeds the current limit threshold or in the event of a short circuit. If the output voltage is higher than the input voltage, the internal reverse voltage detection comparator disables the power switch to protect the device on the input side of the switch. The /FLAG logic output goes low in overcurrent, reverse voltage, or overtemperature conditions. The switch is controlled by a high or low level of the logic enable input.
