The MPQ8623 is a fully integrated high-frequency synchronous buck converter.The MPQ8623 provides a very compact solution for output currents up to 6A over a wide input range with excellent load and linearity regulation.The MPQ8623 operates efficiently over a wide output current load range.The MPQ8623 uses a constant on-time (COT) control mode with internal compensation to provide fast transient response and easier loop stability. The MPQ8623's operating frequency can be easily set to 600kHz, 1100kHz or 2000kHz through the operating mode configuration and remains constant regardless of the input and output voltages. The output voltage ramp is controlled by an internal 1.5ms timer, and the ramp rate can be increased by adding a capacitor to TRK/REF. The power supply normal output indication (PGOOD) pin of the open-drain structure indicates whether the output voltage is within the normal range. The PGOOD has an external pull-up voltage and clamps at about 0.7V when the input power supply cannot be supplied to the MPQ8623.

The MPQ8623 minimizes the use of existing standard external components and is available in a QFN-14 (2mmx3mm) package.
