Hydroxyethyl Cellulose is a yellow powder product, easy to disperse and dissolve in cold water and hot water, and then form aqueous solutions with different viscosities. There are two grades of hydroxyethyl cellulose, one is industrial grade and the other is daily chemical grade. Industrial grade can only be used as a thickener in industrial coatings, while daily chemical grade can be added to shampoos, hair sprays, neutralizers, conditioners and cosmetics as an effective film-forming agent, adhesive agent, thickener, stabilizer and dispersant.

Application

1.Hydroxyethyl cellulose is generally used as a thickener, protective agent, adhesive, stabilizer, and additive for the preparation of emulsions, jellies, ointments, lotions, eye drops, suppositories, and tablets.

2.Hydroxyethyl cellulose is used as a sizing agent in the textile industry, as an auxiliary agent for bonding, thickening, emulsifying, and stabilizing in the electronics and light industry sectors.

3.Hydroxyethyl cellulose is used as surfactant, colloidal protective agent, emulsification stabilizer for vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate and other emulsions, as well as viscosifier, dispersant and dispersion stabilizer for latex.

4.Hydroxyethyl Cellulose Chemical Additives are widely used in printing and dyeing, textile, papermaking, medicine, sanitation, food, cigarette, pesticide and fire extinguishing agent, etc.
