Product Description
Trinder's reagents and some knowledge of MAOS in them
The new Trinder's reagent is a highly water-soluble aniline derivative that has been widely used in diagnostic and biochemical tests. In the colorimetric determination of hydrogen peroxide activity, it has multiple advantages compared to conventional color reagents. The new Trinder's reagents are stable enough to be used in solutions and test line inspection systems.
At present, the chromogenic substrates (new Trinder's reagents) include TOOS, TOPS, ADOS, ADPS, ALPS, DAOS, HDAOS, MADB, MAOS, etc. These new chromogens actually have similar reaction principles to traditional chromogens, but have more advantages. Let's mainly learn about MAOS.
The full name of MAOS is N-ethyl-N - (2-hydroxy-3-sulfopropyl) -3,5-dimethylaniline sodium salt, which is a highly water-soluble aniline derivative of the new Trinder's reagent and plays a crucial role in it. A water-soluble reagent that can be applied to the enzymatic spectrophotometric determination of hydrogen peroxide, and is widely used for diagnostic testing and biochemical experiments.
The reason for the discoloration of its reagent solution: Coloring substrates such as MAOS belong to the new Trinder's reagents, which are derivatives of high water-soluble aniline sodium salts. After oxidation, they will produce red or yellow substances. Trinder's reagent powder is not easily oxidized, and after being prepared into a solution, it needs to be sealed and refrigerated, and used as much as possible; If the solution is exposed to air for a long time and the temperature is too high, they may be slowly oxidized by oxygen in the air, resulting in discoloration of the solution.
MAOS is sensitive to light and humidity. So when we store, the storage temperature for refrigeration is between 0 and 10, and the temperature for frozen storage is below 0. If the storage temperature is not specified, it should be stored in a cool place below 15 ℃ in principle.
Hubei New Desheng has focused on developing a batch of new color reagents such as Trinder's reagents. New reagents have more advantages, such as high water solubility and UV absorption of color reaction products>540nm; The color reaction requires a wide pH range and can ensure the activity of various enzymes during the reaction; The color reaction has high sensitivity and can be used for the determination of extremely small amounts of analytes.
And it has significant product advantages, with a purity of>99%, good water solubility, stable process, and can ensure that the product appearance is pure white crystal powder. Welcome everyone to inquire.
