tert-Butylhydroquinone

Tert-butylhydroquinone is white to light gray crystalline or crystalline powder. Has a very slight peculiar smell. Soluble in ethanol, acetic acid, ethyl ester, isopropyl alcohol, ether, vegetable oil, lard, etc., barely soluble in water (25℃, <1%; 95℃, 5%). Boiling point 300℃, melting point 126.5 ~ 128.5℃. It can prevent hip failure of most oils, especially vegetable oil. Iron, copper does not change color, but can turn pink if there is alkali.

Product application

1. Used as PVC anti-fisheye agent and food additive 2. Antioxidants. Suitable for crude oil and highly unsaturated oils, such as sunflower oil. For cooking oil and baking products, it should be used in combination with BHA, but it is suitable for cooking products. 3. As an antioxidant, it can be used for eating oil, fried food, biscuits, instant noodles, instant cooking rice, canned dried fruit, dried fish products and pickled meat products. 4.
